Jenny Rova was born in Uppsala, Sweden 1972, lives in Zürich since 2001 and is working between Sweden and Switzerland. She received her BA in photography at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and continued her studies at the HGKZ, Photography Department in Switzerland. Her work is based on photography but includes video, writing, interviews and photomontage from stolen or found pictures. The main artistic focus is the individual’s position towards the group and the border between the private and public sphere. Her work has been shown in various exhibitions, events and publications around the world.
