After his training in Basel he worked as an assistant and freelance photographer in Zürich. In 1997 he starts working with Hannes Schmied who he follows around the world for two years. After his return from New York he establishes himself as a freelance photographer in Zürich and works for various magazines and design or ad agencies in different countries.
His work is marked by the precision of his documentary eye. It’s not about the staging, but the careful observation – in people photography as well as in reports or architectural photography.
